Paul brings over 30 years of experience in the HVAC industry, having worked on both the contracting side and for consulting engineering firms. His career has focused on designing and implementing building HVAC systems, showcasing his expertise and commitment to excellence.
Born and raised on Vancouver Island, Paul graduated from Camosun College in 1994. He began his career at Avalon Mechanical and subsequently contributed to four other firms before transitioning in 2010 to serve as the Director of Store Engineering and Construction for Thrifty Foods. During his tenure there, Paul played a pivotal role in introducing the first CO2 refrigeration plant to a Thrifty Foods location on Vancouver Island, significantly enhancing the company’s sustainability efforts.
In 2015, Paul joined Foster Heating and Cooling as the Commercial Construction Manager, further solidifying his leadership in the industry. In early 2024, he partnered with Clayton to establish Mountain Peak Heating and Cooling Ltd., where they continue to innovate and provide top-tier HVAC solutions.
Outside of work, Paul is happily married for 26 years and is the proud father of two sons. He and his wife are active travellers and enjoy short and long trips in their RV. He is also actively involved with the Autism Networks of BC, reflecting his commitment to community and social responsibility.
